Stoudemire tears iris after being poked in eye (USA Today) Training camp in Tucson and Amar Stoudemire's health just don't mix. Stoudemire's ankle was well enough to play in a Wednesday night scrimmage, but he was poked in the right eye by Boris Diaw and missed Thursday's practices because of a torn iris. He also will sit out Friday's public scrimmage.
